The health and safety of individuals is of vital importance, and as a result, COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work. To move forward safely requires our commitment to respect and support one another’s health, safety and wellbeing. Our success depends on our collective participation to adapt to and to adopt new ways of collaborating and interacting within our work community. The health, safety and wellness principles and practices herein are designed to prevent infection and transmission in a pre-vaccine work environment. Our ability to protect ourselves rests on our ability to protect each other.
We are committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment. Our policies are designed to not only protect you but also your co-workers. We rely on you to follow local guidance/laws during your personal time, including physical distancing and wearing a face mask, for your safety and that of your co-workers.
You commit to:
Complete all required forms, screening, testing, and trainings before and during work. If screening is limited by local civil authorities in any way, you agree to consider voluntary compliance with limited activities, and otherwise agree to follow required protocols.
Wear proper identification at all times.
Comply with the policies below and all other health and safety policies issued by Producer at all work sites. Comply with all applicable laws, including health and safety regulations at work sites, public places, and private residences.
Ask questions if you do not understand the policies.
Share your ideas and suggestions on how to improve health and safety.
Acknowledge that information collected from check-in/check-out, screening and testing will be protected andrespected. The information will only be used in the event of a ‘presumed positive case’ to distribute required notification to you for your health, safety and protection.
Acknowledge that the COVID-19 Compliance Officer is a resource to you for COVID-19 related health and safety matters.
Agree to comply with all health and safety policies in the event they are modified based on changing circumstances.
Your Commitment to Individual Responsibility
Consult your health care provider before work if you are concerned about vulnerability or increased risk from COVID-19.
Commit to the entire work schedule.
Work from home and/or work remotely as instructed, arranged or accommodated
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
If you have, develop or come into contact with someone with symptoms you must:
Not go to work.
Seek medical care from a health care provider immediately.
Inform Production.
Follow local public health quarantine and isolation guidelines.
Return to work only with medical approval.
Report if you or someone else have symptoms or combinations of symptoms for COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Conjunctivitis
Drowsiness or sleeplessness
Participate in health and safety meetings to review risk reduction plans and commit to health and safety principles and practices.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds:
When arriving at any worksite
After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
After handling shared equipment
After any physical contact with others on set/workplace
After disinfecting or cleaning equipment or workspaces
Between tasks
After all breaks, bathroom breaks, and meals
After contact with animals or pets
As deemed necessary by the production health and safety team.
Use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol when soap and water are unavailable. Allow your hands to fully dry after using hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching your face, especially eyes, nose, and mouth. Wash your hands anytime you have touched your face.
Cover coughs and sneezes into the elbow.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of virus spread.
Properly use recommended PPE including, but not limited to: face masks, face shields or eye protection, and gloves at all times.
Be responsible for the safekeeping and maintenance of supplied PPE
Dispose of PPE properly.
Do not share PPE.
Do not allow used PPE to come into contact with others.
At any work site, maintain physical distancing of 6’ or 2m as well as:
Remain in your designated production-controlled environment or safe area.
No physical greetings or handshakes.
No more than 2 people in an elevator/lift at a time.
Observe and follow all directional signage, floor markings and physical indicators (e.g., ones, cordoned off areas).
Use only designated entrances and exits.
Maintain more than 6’ or 2m physical distancing for extended interactions, physical exertion (e.g., moving equipment, using stairs).
Put physical barriers between you and others (e.g., dividers).
Use paperless, contactless and touchless procedures, devices, equipment and workflows.
Properly clean equipment and materials specific to your department and craft.
Clean all equipment and materials before transferring to someone else.
Follow all manufacturer instructions for cleaning product use.
Bring your own equipment or supplies to avoid sharing.
Clean and disinfect personal equipment, supplies and effects before entering work site.
Clean and disinfect before and after each use.
Avoid intermingling with non-production personnel and/or the general public.
Minimize back-and-forth trips between designated production-controlled environments, work sites and safe areas.
Only use production arranged or approved travel to comply with COVID-19 regulations and cleaning protocols.
Do not travel with non-essential individuals without approval.
Do not bring visitors or non-essential individuals to work without approval.
Help your co-workers to comply with these policies.
